Do I need it? I don't have this as I haven't worked in Germany. The total length of time off is 12 months in only one parent takes time off, but if the other parent takes at least 2 months off, then the total time to be spread between both parents is 14 months.
Thus forms and required documents are principally standardized all over Germany. Once again, thanks sooo much to all TT members The last 12 months prior to the birth are taken into account for measuring the average monthly income.
